Taking Gymstick into use
Setting up Gymstick: attach the exercise bands to both ends of the stick with the simple mechanism; slip the smaller loops over the rubber stoppers. Make sure that the wings of the stopper and the seams of the fabric loop are in line when slipping the loop on the stopper! The loop may be a little tight when you attach it for the first time. If the loops have been attached correctly, the bands are hanging loose and pointing to the same direction.
Most of the Gymstick exercises are done with the loops set under your feet. Set the loop to the middle part of the sole to make sure it will not slip. We recommend using sport shoes when exercising with Gymstick. You can also do many exercises by setting both loops under one foot.
You can increase the resistance by rolling the band clockwise around the stick. You can adjust the resistance quickly even when exercising. The smooth control of resistance allows you to exercise effectively.
Do not roll the exercise bands around the grips and do not stretch the exercise band over four times its original length when doing the exercises. By doing this you prevent the band from suffering damage and its life will also be prolonged. You should store your Gymstick in a Gymstick bag to protect the tool from direct sun light and other damage.
